How to Repair Willy's Boat

After reaching 6 hearts of friendship with Willy, he sends a letter inviting you to visit his shop's back room. Inside is a broken boat requiring three repair jobs: the ticket machine (200 Hardwood), the hull (5 Iridium Bars), and the anchor (5 Battery Packs). You can complete the repairs in any order and on different days — partial repairs are saved.

Hardwood comes from cutting Large Logs (require Copper Axe+) and Large Stumps on your farm or in the Secret Woods (requires Steel Axe, accessible after repairing the bridge). 200 Hardwood is a significant amount — save everything from farm clearing and farm building material leftovers. The Secret Woods provides 12 Hardwood per day from stumps.

Major Walnut sources: Island exploration (searching bushes and rocks), Island Farm hidden spots (dig and check every corner), Volcano Dungeon (Golden Walnuts in chests on each floor), Professor Snail's Field Office (donate Island fossils for Walnut rewards), fishing on the island (Island-specific fish reward Walnuts), and completing specific Ginger Island quests. The golden coconut (opened by Clint for special items) can also contain Walnuts.
